Called Rory in to change or repair gutter swannecks at two addresses. Quote given, no money asked for up front and date booked. (I wasn’t home but as access wasn’t a problem, Rory agreed to complete the job anyway on trust). When it started raining heavily a couple of days later, one of the gutters was still overtopping. Fully expecting to be fobbed off, I contacted Rory, explained what was happening, Rory came back to site, diagnosed the issue, dismantled the down pipe at the bottom and cleared (probably years worth of) heavily compacted leaves and moss from the base and despite me offering (because this was additional to what had been originally asked and quoted for) he took no additional payment. Having seen the issues that neglect causes, I shall definitely use Rory’s Gutters again for annual maintenance.
